Note: When fully extended, the locking tabs click automatically into their locked position.
e. To reduce Trays 24, slide both locking tabs out, to their unlocked position. Then slide the rear
of the tray back into the tray body until the locking tabs click into their locked position.
4. Adjust the length and width guides to fit the paper.
a. Pinch the guide lever on each guide.
b. Slide the guides to the size of the paper.
c. To secure the guides in position, release the levers.
Adjust Tray 1 width guides.
Adjust Trays 24 width guides.
5. Flex the sheets back and forth and fan them, then align the edges of the stack on a level surface.
This procedure separates any sheets that are stuck together and reduces the possibility of jams.
