Chapter 3: Board Component Descriptions
The VCU118 evaluation board uses power regulators and PMBus compliant point of load
(POL) controllers from Maxim Integrated Circuits to supply the core and auxiliary voltages
listed in Table 3-33.
Documentation describing PMBus programming for the Maxim multiphase master and
InTune power controllers is available at the Maxim website [Ref 28]. The PCB layout and
power system design meet the recommended criteria described in the UltraScale
Architecture PCB Design User Guide (UG583) [Ref 12].
