10 PTZControl
When a PTZ IP camera is used that is integrated into the HeiTel video systems with regard to PTZ
functionality, these functions are also controlled via the software. General information regarding IP cameras
and a complete list of compatible IP cameras is available under
http://www.heitel.com/upload/downloads/en/11-technical-product-information/IPcam_list.pdf.
The following list of PTZ functions will be available, depending on your camera system:
l Pan and tilt
l Variable speed
l Zoom
l Focus
l Aperture control
l Activate / deactivate auto iris
l Actuation to base position
l Program and call up fixed positions
l Vector scans / program and call up rounds
l Program and activate/deactivate privacy zones
l Switch camera functions
l Dome programming with OSD and key simulation
10.1 Presets of IPcameras
If you have set the parameters of a PTZ IP camera using the CamControl LITE or CamControl PRO software,
you can also define the Number of Presets in the extended configuration dialogue. A button panel for selecting
the presets is expanded according to the number of presets. This setting is also saved in the transmitter-
specific R01 file.
Note: The presets must be defined beforehand using the web interface of the IP camera in question.
