You can select a desired mode before or after you dialing a number. Meanwhile, during a call 
you can switch among Speakerphone modes by pressing the speakerphone key, Handset 
modes by pressing the HEADSET key or Handset mode by picking up the handset. 
Note 
Placing Calls 
You can place calls in numerous ways, including placing multiple calls, placing a call using a 
speed dial key, placing a call from the recent calls/search source list, placing a call back to the 
last incoming call, dialing the hotline number or redialing numbers. You can also dial an 
entry/contact from local directory, remote phone book or call history. For more information, 
refer to Contact Management and Call History Management. 
Placing a Call 
Procedure: 
1.  Do one of the following: 
-  Pick up the handset. 
-  Press the Speakerphone key. 
-  Press the HEADSET key. 
2.  Enter a number. 
 
You can also select a desired contact from the search list, or select a contact from the 
placed call list or Directory before you enter the number. 
3.  Press the OK key , # key or Send. 
The # key is configured as a send key by default. You can also set the * key as the send key, or 
set neither. For more information, refer to Configuring Key As Send.
