Setting up when first turned on
The first time the power is turned on after purchase, as well as after the R4 has been reset to factory
defaults, the initial setting screens will open. Make the various settings.
• Setting the date and time
The date and time are included in recording files.
• Setting the type of batteries used
Select the type of battery used in the R4 so that the amount of remaining battery charge can be shown
accurately.
1. Use and to select the desired setting, and use to confirm.
2. Use and to select a setting value, and use to confirm.
3. Repeat steps 1–2 to set the date and time.
4. After setting all items, use and to select , and use to
confirm.
