7.3.1 Creating MAC Filtering Rules
In the MAC Filtering Setup screen, click Add to display this screen where you can configure a
MAC address filter rule.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
Protocol Type Select the IP protocol (PPPoE, IPv4, IPv6, AppleTalk, IPX, NETBEUI or IGMP) to
which this rule applies.
Destination MAC
Address
Enter the destination MAC address to which this rule applies.
Source MAC Address Enter the source MAC address to which this rule applies.
Frame Direction Select the traffic direction in which the filtering occurs (LAN <=> WAN, LAN =>
WAN, WAN => LAN).
WAN Interfaces Select a WAN interface from the drop to list. This is the interface to which the filtering
rule applies in bridge mode only.
Save/Apply Click this to save your customized settings and exit this screen.
