If you use 1 LAN, make sure that the LAN IP addresses are from the private LAN
address range. Using addresses from other ranges may result in call blocking by
the function that rejects unwanted incoming calls. To receive calls from
addresses of the public IP address range, set NAT and redirect your access point
ports correctly.
If you use more LANs than 1 (corporate networks), set NAT on all network
elements correctly.
Note
An unwanted call filter is implemented especially where the application
is connected to a SIP Proxy server on a public IP address. Its purpose is
to prevent receiving of the SIP Proxy calls that have not come directly
from the SIP Proxy server to which the application is connected.
The application transmission rate in the phone provider's data connection mode
(SIP Proxy or My2N where the application is off the LAN) is as follows:
Only audio: 80–110 kbps UP/ 80–110 kbps DOWN
Audio and video: 80–110 kbps UP/ 140–1700 kbps DOWN
Note
The 140 kbps bit rate was achieved if the video transmission 2N Helios IP
resolution and video bitrate (64 kbps) were the lowest. On the contrary,
1700 kbps required the highest video resolution and video bitrate of
2048 kbps.
The data network types change in dependence on the required video
transmission quality and bit rate requirements. We recommend that 3 G+
or 4 G (i.e. HSPA+ or LTE) should be used. Other types may cause video
transmission errors.
Refer to for more details on LAN requirements, including faq.2n.cz
device wiring examples.
