10.7 Output filter board change
PQFS filters are equipped with output filter board which has 6 capacitors (2 per phase)
and pre-load circuit in built. Capacitor lifespan is up to 5 years. This data assumes that
the filter is used within the ABB approved technical specifications (Cf. Chapter 12).

Please refer to “9AKK107992A0162- Replacement of output filter board in PQFS – After
October 2014” specific detailed procedure for the change of the output filter board.
IMPORTANT NOTE: For PQFS filter older than October 2014, the design was different and
the output filters capacitors must also be changed after 5 years.

October 2014” specific detailed procedure for the change of the output filter capacitors
for PQFS older than Oct 2014.
10.8 Servicing report
The Servicing report is designed to help the person in charge of servicing.
The report can be used for each individual unit of a multi-unit filter.
