actions
1000 DC String
fuse blown
A DC string fuse has failed. If there are
several inputs connected and some of them
have good fuses; the inverter continues
power feeding with partial solar power
available from the remaining functional
strings.
Maintenance or
service person should
replace all failed string
fuses.
1001 DC Surge
suppressor
A surge protection cartridge has failed. The
inverter continues its normal functions but the
inverter’s protection against voltage surges
has decreased. If surge protection cartridges
are not replaced, the inverter might be
damaged when the next surge voltage peak
appears at the DC side.
Maintenance or
service person should
replace all failed surge
protection cartridges.
1002 Inverter
temperature
The inverter power electronics have reached
a high internal temperature level. The
inverter temporarily adjusts its operation
point to limit the output current and power
until the internal temperature has decreased.
The inverter automatically returns to normal
operation.
User should monitor
the inverter
temperature from the
control unit’s technical
view and contact the
system supplier if the
warning appears
often.
1003 Ctlbrd
temperature
The inverter control electronics have reached
a high internal temperature level. The
inverter temporarily adjusts its operation
point to limit the output current and power
until the internal temperature has decreased.
The inverter automatically returns to normal
operation.
User should monitor
the inverter
temperature from the
control unit’s technical
view and contact the
system supplier if the
warning appears
often.
1004 External fan
failure
The cooling fan has failed. The inverter
continues its normal functions but it might
limit the output power or suffer
overtemperature trips.
Maintenance or
service person should
replace the cooling fan
and report to the
system supplier.
1005 Internal fan
failure
The stirring fan has failed. The inverter
continues its normal functions but it might
limit the output power or suffer
