36 Planning the installation
The installation location
must be accessible in
emergencies and for
maintenance.
The installation location
must be out of reach of
children, pets and pests.
During operation, the
inverter can produce a
slight noise or vibration
which could disturb
people. Consider this
when selecting the
installation location and
materials.
When choosing the
installation place, ensure
that all labels on the
inverter are visible at all
times.
Do not install the inverter
in direct sunlight. Power
derating will occur if the
internal temperature of the
inverter gets too high.
Protect from ice and snow.
Mount the inverter upright
on a vertical surface.
Prevent exposure to dust
and harmful gases such
as ammonia.
