Step Procedure

Unscrew clamp screws (1) on the pipe sealing device until it is easy
to move. If necessary, clean the outside of the probe pipe first.

Move pipe sealing device by the required amount.

Tighten clamp screws. Make sure that one of the springs is in six 'o'
clock position.

Turn service switch back to OFF position and insert probe again
using the controller.
WARNING! Probe moves into the kiln. Do not stand in the area of
travel of the probe or probe carriage until the probe is com-
pletely inserted into the kiln and the warning lamps go out.
Proceed as follows to change the vertical alignment of the gas sampling probe:

Turn service switch to ON position.
WARNING! Gas sampling probe moves out of the kiln. Do not
stand in the area of travel of the gas sampling probe or probe
carriage until the probe is completely retracted and the warn-
ing lamps go out.

Press EMERGENCY STOP switch and allow gas sampling probe to
cool down.
WARNING! Risk of burning in the event of contact with the hot
probe. Do not touch the probe until it has cooled down to be-
low 50 °C.

Unscrew counter nuts (1) on probe carriage.
