Personal safety equipment
The following general protective equipment must be worn when performing any
work in the area of the gas sampling system:
 Closed overalls with long trousers and long sleeves
 Safety shoes
 Safety gloves suitable for mechanical work
 Safety glasses
 Protective helmet
 If necessary, additional protective equipment if prescribed by the operator.
The following additional protective equipment is required when performing mainte-
nance work:
 Dust mask
 Face mask against heat
 Heat-proof gloves and protective welder's clothing
 Respiratory protection against toxic gases from the rotary kiln
