5.Access to control unit and configuration wizard
5.1.Network connection
The following sections show the steps needed to set up the SCU200 control unit.
The control unit can be used in different operating modes:
• LAN connection via router
• WiFi
• Direct LAN connection
• Additionally, data are available through serial port Modbus RTU (RS485). For further information,
consult the dedicated document.
5.1.1.LAN connection via router
The SCU200 control unit is connected to the router using a RJ45 cable (network).
• Accessing the Web UI via IP address
Port 8000 to be added to the IP address 192.168.1.200 to define the port number (e.g. 192.168.1.200:8000)
to access your web browser. Defining the port number is important because without a port number
access is not possible.
Attention: In case of DHCP, the system administrator can read the IP address assigned to the SCU200
device by DHCP on the router..
