Gain setting determines the actuator response time while in automatic mode. The Maximum
Speed limits the top speed of the actuator in Automatic mode. The Deadband is a zone
around the edge detector guide point in which the motor drive is turned off. Note: The value of
each of these parameters can be adjusted via the arrow buttons located to the left and right of
each parameter’s respective indicator bar.
2. The Edge Detector Settings button allows selection of the edge detector model being used.
The edge detector model can be selected via the up and down arrows for both Edge A and
Edge B.
Note:
Whenever a different edge detector is selected from the list, it must be calibrated in order
for it to function properly, see page 57.
Changes to the detector setting button affects Parameters: 12, 13, 24, 25, 36, 37, 55 and
56.
