6 - COLLIMATOR CONE (Beam Limiting Device)
Made of transparent polycarbonate or PC-ABS, it allows for:
- correct focal spot to skin distance
- dimension, direction and centering of the x-ray beam
- implementation of different x-ray techniques (bisecting and parallel technique)
