6. Computer Programs/Selections...
Each Dual Microprocessor Controller (DMC) computer has been preprogrammed by the factory with the most
commonly used program (parameter) selections. If microprocessor controller (computer) program changes are
required, refer to the DMC Programming Manual, which was shipped with the dryer.
K. SHUTDOWN INSTRUCTIONS
In the case where the dryer is to be shutdown (taken out of service) for a period of time, the following must be
performed:
1. Discontinue power to the dryer (both baskets [tumblers]) either at the external disconnect switch or the circuit
breaker.
2. Discontinue the gas or steam supply:
a. GAS MODELS...discontinue the gas supply.
1) SHUT OFF external gas supply shutoff valve (for both the top basket [tumbler] and the bottom
basket [tumbler] where the independent supply line for each basket [tumbler] is used).
b. STEAM MODELS...discontinue the steam supply.
1) SHUT OFF external (location furnished) shutoff valve (for both the top basket [tumbler] and the
bottom basket [tumbler] where the independent supply line for each basket [tumbler] is used).
