1.13 Warm-up
The instrument must be warmed up for 30 minutes or more to reach operation performance specifications.
1.14 Calibration
The 8230 must be calibrated by a qualified person with adequate instruments. For more information, refer to
Chapter 7, "CALIBRATION." If no qualified person is available, contact an ADC CORPORATION sales
representative.
To calibrate the sensors, contact an ADC CORPORATION sales representative.
Sensor calibration should be performed at an ADC CORPORATION site.
For more information on calibrating the 8230 and sensors, contact an ADC CORPORATION sales represen-
tative. Perform calibration periodically to maintain accuracy.
1.15 Replacing Parts with Limited Life
This instrument uses the following parts with limited life that are not listed in "Safety Summary." Replace
the parts listed below after their expected lifespan has expired. For more information on how to replace parts,
contact an ADC CORPORATION sales representative.
Desirable Period 1 year

AC Adaptor 10,000 hours or
more
Replace the AC adaptor if the following phenomenon occurs.
The 8230 power turns on when using the batteries but does
not turn on when using the AC adaptor without batteries.
