1.6 Options and Accessories
1.6.1 Option to Use Old-Type Sensors (OPT8230E+70)
The 821x series optical sensors (the 82014A, 82017A, 82015, and Q82018A) for the TQ8210 or TQ8215
can be connected to this optical power meter by specifying the option.
1.6.2 Sensor Option
The following options can be used to obtain the wavelength sensitivity correction data of the sensor. Spec-
ify the option when ordering.
• Wavelength sensitivity correction option
The wavelength sensitivity of each sensor is measured and corrected when calibrating.
(The standard model of 82311B/82321B is corrected by using the typical value.)
NOTE: The additional calibration wavelength option (+21/+22/+23) cannot be used in the 8230E. Even if the
additional calibration wavelength option is set in the sensor, the settings excluding the standard specifi-
cation cannot be used in the 8230E.
