Sample Test Warnings
During a test, a warning may be reported to the results
column. This type of warning is due to an issue with the
sample tested. These errors are shown in red on the Main
screen results column, and the tube position displays in
red. For example, a sample may result in an Out of Range
High error.
The test continues to run to completion if one or more of
these errors occurs, depending on the QC action set (see
Configure Quality Control Actions). These errors are also
recorded on the printout and stored in the Events
database.
If sample test-related warnings occur that the operator
cannot troubleshoot/resolve, call Advanced Instruments
Technical Service.
Possible sample test errors:
Sample Did Not Freeze
Sample Pre-Freeze
Test Time Out
Cooldown timeout
No Tube Detected
Out of Range (Low/High)
No Result
NOTE: If one of these errors occurs, consider re-testing
the sample carefully following proper techniques
(see Best Practices for Handling Samples).
