7.4.3 Printer
This tab is where the user can enable or disable the printer. (Figure 7.11)
If the user does not wish to utilize the instruments printer, it can be disabled. The results are still
reported to the results and events databases, and LIS if enabled.
To enable or disable the printer select the desired option then press SAVE. Press EXIT to return
to the Settings screen.

7.4.4 Barcode
This tab is where the user can adjust the brightness level of the barcode scanner LED. (Figure
7.12) The level can be changed to: Low, Medium, or High.
• To change the brightness, select the desired option. Press SAVE.
• Press EXIT to return to the Settings screen.
