5.3.3 Positioning of defibrillation PADs
The correct placement of the PADs is essential for an efficient analysis of the patient's heart rhythm and for the
consequent delivery of the shock (if necessary).
Always refer to the instructions given both on the packaging of the PADs and directly on each individual pad.
The PADs of the Saver One are polarized type; do not reverse the positioning of each single pad.
1 Position Pad 1 immediately below the patient's right collarbone
2 Position Pad 2on the ribs on the left side of the patient under the left side of the chest
1 Position Pad 1 immediately below the patient's right collarbone
2 Position Pad 2on the ribs on the left side of the patient under the left side of the chest
