In

the
synthesizer
is pulse
mo dulated
using a
pulse
generator.
The
syn
thesizer's
RF output
is ltered
(only the
video feedthrough
passes),
amplied, and
display
ed
on
an
oscilloscop
e.
Because
of
the
lo
w
amplitude
of
the
video
feedthrough,
a
preamplier
is
used
in
the
test
setup;
system
gain
m
ust b
e considered
when
making
this
measuremen
t.
When
video
feedthrough
is
expressed as
ap
ercentage,
the
follo
wing
equation
is
used:
