Description

No test
equipment
is required
for this
pro cedure.
This
pro cedure
sets the
external trigger
to
trigger
on
either
the
leading
or
the
trailing
edge
of
a
TTL
signal.
When
the
jump
er
(sho
wn
in
Figure 3-41
)is
in the
POS p
osition

eep
is
triggered
on
the leading
edge of
the pulse
(when the
signal

hanges
from
0
to
5
v
olts).
When
the
jump

is
in

NEG

osition

on

trailing

to

ts in the
POS p osition and the tworight points in the NEG position. (POS and NEG p ositions are
lab eled on all assemblies.)
2. The jump er is factory-set to the POS position (triggers on the leading edge). Tochange
it move the jump er to the NEG position. The synthesizer now triggers a sweep on the
trailing edge (a 5 to 0 volt change).
3. Reinstall the A15 assembly and turn synthesizer power on.
