CAUTION Always use the three-prong AC power cord supplied with this instrument. Failure to ensure
adequate earth grounding by not using this cord may cause product damage.
CAUTION Do not connect ac power until you have verified the line voltage is correct as described in Table
1-2 on page 1-6. Damage to the equipment could result.
• Connect the line cord as shown in the figure below. The 86100C automatically
adjusts for line input voltages of 115 VAC and 230 VAC. There is no voltage se-
lection switch. The line cord provided is matched by Agilent to the country in
which the order originates.
