Disabling the Output
The output of the power supply can be disabled or enabled from the front panel.
When t he power supply is in the “Off” state, the
OFF
annunciator turns on and
the output is disabled. The
OFF
annunciator turns off when the power supply
returns to the “On” state. When the ou tput is disabled, the voltage value is 0
volts and the current val ue is 0.02 amps.
The output state is stored in
volatile
mem ory; the output is always dis abled
when power has been off or after a remote interface reset.
• Front-panel operation:
You can disabl e the output by pressi ng key. This key toggles between
output “Off” and “On” states.
• Remote interface operation:
OUTP {OFF|ON} Disable or enable the output
W hile the output is disa bled , the ra nge se le ction keys, the con trol knob,
reso luti on sele ctio n key s, an d adj ust sele ctio n key are st ill wor king . If the
displ ay is in the m eter mode , you ca nn ot see the ch anges of output
voltage and current settings on the display when turning the knob. T o see

in the limit mode.
