Calibration Overview

Calibration Count
You can determine the number of times that your power supply has been
calibrated. Your power supply was calibrated before it left the factory. When
you receive your power supply, read the count to determine its initial value.
The calibration count feature can be performed from the remote interface
only.
• The calibration count is stored in
non-volatile
memory, and does not change
when power has been off or after a remote interface reset.
• The calibration count increments up to a maximum of 32,767 afte r which it
wraps-around to 0. Since the value increments by one for each calibration
point, a complete calibratio n wil l incr ease the value by 5 counts.
• Remote Interface Operation:
CAL:COUN? Query the number of times of calibration
Calibration Message
You can use the calibration message feature t o record calibra tion inf orma tion
about your power supply . For example, you can store such information as the
last calibration date, the next calibration due date, the power supply’s serial
number, or even the name and phone number of the person to contact for a
new calibration.
You can re cor d and re ad inform a tion in the cal ibr ation m es sage from the
rem ote inte rfac e only.
• The power supply shoul d be unsecured before sending a calibr ation
message.
• The calib ration mes sage may contain up to 40 characters.
• The calibration mes sage is stored in non- volati le mem ory, and does not
change when power has been off or after a remote interface reset.
• Remote Interface Operation:
