Firmware Revision Query
The power supply has three micropro cessor s for control of various internal
systems. You can query the power supply to determine which revision of
firmware is installed for each microprocessor.

• The power supply returns four fields separated by commas and the fourth
field is a revision code which contains three numbers. The first number is
the firmware revision number for the main processor; the second is for the
input/ou tput processor ; and the third is for the front-panel process or.

Be sure to dimension a string variable with at least 40 characters.
SCPI Language Version
The power supply co mpli es with the rules and regulations of the present
version of SCPI (Standard Commands for Programmabl e Instruments). You
can determine the SCPI v ersion with which the power supply is in compliance
by sending a com m and from the remote interface.
You can query the SCPI version from the remote interface only.
• Remote interface operation:
SYST:VERS? Query the SCPI version
Returns a string in the form “YYYY .V” where the “Y’ s” represent the year of the
version, and the “V” represents a versio n number for that year (for exam pl e,
1996.0).
