2 Cable Preparation
Cable preparation (for slip-on connectors) can be critical for some SRL
measurements, especially when measuring mainline cables with an SRL of −30 dB
or lower. An improperly prepared cable can degrade the cable/connector response
which may affect the measurement enough to make a “good” cable fail.
