Save Money with Rebuilt-Exchange Assemblies
Shipping the Defective Assembly Back to Hewlett-Packard
1. When the rebuilt assembly is received, be careful not to damage the box in which it was shipped. You will use that
box to return the defective assembly. The box you receive will contain the following:
• The rebuilt assembly
• An exchange assembly failure report
• A return address label
2. Complete the failure report.
3. Place the failure report and the defective assembly in the box. B
e sure to remove the enclosed return address label.
4. Seal the box
with tape.
If you are inside the United States, stick the preprinted retur
n address label over the label that is already on the
box and return box to HP. (HP pays postage on boxes mailed within the United States.)
If you are outside the USA, do not use the return address label; ins
tead, address box to the nearest HP sales and
service office. (Refer to Table 3-1.)
