•Stoptheengineandcooldownbefore
checkingthecoolingsystemtoavoid
beingburned.
•Neverleavethekeyinthekeyswitchwhen
checkingthecoolingsystem.Someone
mayaccidentallystarttheenginewithout
realizingitwhilecheckingthecooling
system.Suchaccidentscouldresultina
seriousinjury.
CAUTION
Weareyeprotectorandrubbergloves
whenhandlingtheenginecoolant.If
contactwiththeeyesorskinshouldoccur,
flusheyesandwashimmediatelywith
cleanwater.
NOTICE
Donotremovetheradiatorcap.
Makesurethemachineislevel.
Turnthekeyswitchto“ ”(OFF)toshutdown
theengineandremovethekey.
Checkthelevelofenginecoolantinthereserve
tank(Fig.7‒7,1).Thecoolantlevelinthetank
shouldbebetweenthe“LOW”mark(Fig.7‒7,1)
and“FULL”mark(Fig.7‒7,3).

itissecurelyconnectedandtherearenocracks
ordamage.Ifthehoseisdamaged,engine
coolantwillleakoutinsteadofgoingintothe
reservetank.
