  If your AIRMAC Air Compressor engine won't start or cranks slowly, consider these potential issues: * Ensure there's fuel in the tank and the fuel supply valve is open; add fuel or open the valve as necessary. * Verify the engine control switch is on. * Check the oil level and add oil if it's low. * For electric start diesel engines, make sure the 12 Volt battery is connected. * Ensure the emergency stop button is not activated (pushed in); release it by turning it a quarter turn clockwise. * Confirm the engine is properly grounded by grounding the battery to the engine as recommended. * Replace old fuel or fuel contaminated with water and add a fuel stabilizer. * Adjust V-belts to the proper tension and alignment if they are too tight or misaligned.   Excessive noise or vibration in your AIRMAC Air Compressor can stem from several issues. Start by checking for loose engine, motor, or compressor pump pulleys and ensure V-belts are correctly tensioned and aligned; tighten or replace pulleys as needed, and adjust belt tension. Low oil level can also cause noise, so add oil. If you hear pistons hitting the cylinder heads, remove the cylinder heads and inspect for carbon deposits or foreign matter on top of the pistons. Damaged or worn crankshaft bearings, crankpin bearings, crankshaft, connecting rods, piston pin bearings, piston pins, pistons, cylinders, or valves may also be responsible, requiring replacement of components or the entire compressor pump.   If your AIRMAC Air Compressor pump isn't reaching full speed, several factors could be at play. Check for loose engine or motor pulleys, loose compressor pump pulleys, or loose/worn V-belts; tighten or replace pulleys as needed, ensure proper alignment, and adjust V-belt tension. Low supply voltage can also hinder pump speed; check the no-load and full-load supply voltage, upgrade the power supply circuit if required, and disconnect other electrical devices on the same circuit. Avoid using extension leads, opting instead for a longer air hose with a larger diameter. Ensure the engine throttle control is opening fully; adjust or replace it if necessary.
