15 Interface connector assembly
15.1 GENERAL
15.1.1 Purpose
This specication includes the guidelines for the application and the mounting of the connec tor
and its accessories.
The text and illustrations derives from AMP Application specication 114-18660 Rev.B.
15.1.2 Customer Drawing
Dimensions, materials and surfaces see topical valid AMP customer drawings.
15.1.3 Product Specication
This application specication is valid for the prod ucts specied in AMP product specication
108 18946. This product specication provides a description of the electrical and mechanical
properties of this con nector. Further the topical valid product and appli cation specication of the
contact system have to be observed.
15.2 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

15.2.1 Receptacle connector
The receptacle connector is shown in Figure 14. The connector consists of the receptacle hous-
ing, the secondary locking device (1), the cavity block, the radial seal, the lever (2), two slides,
two clips and the cap (3). The receptacle housing has multiple coding versions for the tab hous-
ing. The receptacle housing is covered by a cap.
