2.6 Alphanumeric keypad
Your handset is fitted with an alphanumeric keypad.
• Enter alphabetic characters in a text area: the number pad keys have letters that you can
display by successive presses.
• Press and hold the '*' key while entering text to switch from lowercase to uppercase
or special characters.
o Press once (Abc): to enter next character only in uppercase.
o Press twice (ABC): to enter all characters in uppercase.
o Press a third time (123): to enter numbers and special characters.
• Use navigation keys to move the cursor into the text (except in dial by name feature).
• Use this key to delete the last entered character.
Use cases while entering text:
• : 'space' is displayed.
• : 'd' is displayed.
• (2 successive presses): 'e' is displayed.
• (3 successive presses): 'f' is displayed.
• Long press + (3 successive presses): 'F' is displayed.
