C.4 Training Requirements
The system is designed to be operated only by personnel properly trained in its handling and use. All
personnel who operate the system must read the operator’s manual. This includes beauty operators,
physicians, nurses, technical staff or other professional staff members.
Alma Lasers provides in-service training for the system. At the end of this in-service training, personnel
are considered trained for the operation of the system.
The physician is responsible for contacting the local licensing agencies to determine any credentials
required by law for clinical use and operation of the system.
C.5 Tip Connection
Open the tip packaging, remove the tip and connect it to the distal port of the applicator by inserting it to its place
and twisting clockwise, about 1 cm (bayonet lock mechanism). To remove a tip, hold it with two fingers, twist
counterclockwise and gently pull it out.
C.6 Sterilization of the Colibri Tips
It is imperative that the tip remain clean and free of debris. before the treatment, the single use colibri
tip should be cleaned.
Cleaning the Colibri Tip (prior to treatment)
1. The Colibri tips are packed sealed and clean. Open a new pack and remove one tip
