Glass Parts
The outside cover of your device’s screen is made of glass. This glass
could break if the device is dropped or receives a substantial impact. If the
glass breaks, chips, or cracks, stop using your Fire phone and do not
touch or attempt to remove the damaged glass.
Battery Safety
The rechargeable battery in your Fire phone should be replaced only by an
authorized service provider. For more information about batteries, go to
www.amazon.com/firephonesupport. Your device is shipped with an AC
adapter. Your Fire phone should only be charged using the AC adapter and
USB cable included with the device, or another USB cable approved for use
with your Fire phone, with a compatible USB charger or USB port that meets
the following requirements: USB-IF Battery Charging Spec, Rev 1.2. To
reduce the risk of fire or electric shock when using the AC adapter, carefully
follow these instructions:
Do not force the adapter into a power outlet.
Do not expose adapter or cable to liquids.
If the adapter or cable appears damaged, discontinue use immediately.
Power adapter designed only for use with Fire phone.
Do not plug multiple electric devices into the same wall socket.
Overloading a socket can cause it to overheat and may result in a fire.
Headphone Safety
At high volumes, prolonged listening with the headphones can
damage the ear of the user. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not
listen at high volume levels for long periods. Discontinue use of the
headphones and consult a physician if you experience any ringing in your
ears or muffled speech.
Using your headphones while operating a vehicle is not recommended
and is illegal in some areas. If you are in an area where use of
headphones while operating a vehicle is allowed, always give full attention
to the operation of the vehicle and stop using your headphones if they
become a distraction.
Clean the headphones frequently. Dirty headphones can cause ear
infections and other skin problems. Discontinue use of the headphones
and consult a physician if skin problems develop.
