Glass Parts  
The outside cover of your device’s screen is made of glass. This glass 
could break if the device is dropped or receives a substantial impact. If the 
glass breaks, chips, or cracks, stop using your Fire phone and do not 
touch or attempt to remove the damaged glass.  
Battery Safety 
The rechargeable battery in your Fire phone should be replaced only by an 
authorized service provider. For more information about batteries, go to 
www.amazon.com/firephonesupport. Your device is shipped with an AC 
adapter. Your Fire phone should only be charged using the AC adapter and 
USB cable included with the device, or another USB cable approved for use 
with your Fire phone, with a compatible USB charger or USB port that meets 
the following requirements: USB-IF Battery Charging Spec, Rev 1.2. To 
reduce the risk of fire or electric shock when using the AC adapter, carefully 
follow these instructions:  
  Do not force the adapter into a power outlet.  
  Do not expose adapter or cable to liquids.  
  If the adapter or cable appears damaged, discontinue use immediately. 
  Power adapter designed only for use with Fire phone. 
  Do not plug multiple electric devices into the same wall socket. 
Overloading a socket can cause it to overheat and may result in a fire. 
Headphone Safety 
   At high volumes, prolonged listening with the headphones can 
damage the ear of the user. To prevent possible hearing damage, do not 
listen at high volume levels for long periods. Discontinue use of the 
headphones and consult a physician if you experience any ringing in your 
ears or muffled speech.  
  Using your headphones while operating a vehicle is not recommended 
and is illegal in some areas. If you are in an area where use of 
headphones while operating a vehicle is allowed, always give full attention 
to the operation of the vehicle and stop using your headphones if they 
become a distraction. 
  Clean the headphones frequently. Dirty headphones can cause ear 
infections and other skin problems. Discontinue use of the headphones 
and consult a physician if skin problems develop.
