Voice Settings
There are a number of important settings that control your speech recognition experience on your Fire
phone. Your phone can recognize and speak a growing number of languages.
In addition, you can choose to have speech recognition enabled even when the phone is locked with a PIN
– this can make it easy to activate via a Bluetooth device or headset when you are driving, running, or
when it may not be convenient to unlock the phone.
Note: Some speech-powered features may only be accessed when your phone is unlocked to protect privacy in the
event of a lost or stolen device.
To configure your voice settings, go to Voice in the Settings menu.
