Starting/Monitoring a Calibration: An Example
This section provides an example of how to initiate and then monitor a
calibration.
1. Check that no calibration or verification is currently occurring by
checking the Calflag variable (Calflag=3).
2. Send the Calibrate command to the IQ analyzer (G00).
3. If an acknowledge is returned (A ), the calibration command is ac-
cepted. If not accepted, the sensor may not be at a proper operating
temperature or may already be performing a system calibration.
4. Read the Gas_ctr variable to determine the position in the calibration
cycle. Use this variable to determine when to activate solenoids (if not
controlling solenoids using the IQ analyzer).
5. Read the Cal_flag variable to determine when the cal cycle is finished
(Calflag=3).
6. Read the calibration values (for example, cal_span and cal_zero vari-
ables).
