• Expression When you connect a continuous controller pedal to the Expression
Pedal input, you can decide what function it will perform. Expression (MIDI CC
11) is the default value, but you can set it to anything else, like Cutoff Frequency
(MIDI CC 74), Modulation Wheel (MIDI CC 1) etc. or an AstroLab-specific function
like Leslie Fast/Slow or Arpeggiator on/off, or anything else you find useful.
• Expression Pedal Calibration Sets the min and max value received from the
pedal by pressing and depressing the pedal. This allows AstroLab to detect the
polarity and the range of any type of on/off or continuous pedal.
• Aux 1 and Aux 2 The two Aux sockets accept switch or continuous pedals. These
two menus allow you to specify their specific functions, including MIDI CC and
AstroLab jobs like Start Record or Play Song et cetera.
• Aux 1 and 2 Pedal Calibration Sets the min and max value received from the
pedal by pressing and depressing the pedal. This allows AstroLab to detect the
polarity and the range of any type of on/off or continuous pedal.
• Metronome
