2.1 I Operang principle
The heat pump uses the calories (heat) in the air to heat up your pool's water. The process to heat your pool's water to
the temperature you want may take a few days as it depends on the weather condions, the heat pump's power and the
dierence between the water temperature and the temperature you want.
The hoer and more humid the air, the beer your heat pump will perform. The outdoor parameters for opmal
operaon are an air temperature of 26°C, a water temperature of 26°C and 80% relave humidity.
Tip: to improve the heang and maintaining of your pool's temperature
• Ancipate the commissioning of your pool far enough in advance before you use it.
• When the temperature of the pool is increasing at the beginning of a season to reach the desired
temperature, set the water circulaon to connuous operaon (24/7).
• To maintain the temperature throughout the season, run "automac" circulaon for the equivalent of the
water temperature divided by two (the longer this me, the more sucient the operang range of the
heat pump to heat the pool).
• Cover the pool with a sheet (bubble canopy, canvas, etc.) to prevent heat loss.
• Take advantage of a period with mild outdoor temperatures (on average > 10°C at night); it will be even
more eecve if it runs during the warmest hours of the day.
• Keep the evaporator clean.
• Set the temperature you want and let the heat pump run.
• Connect the "Heang priority"; the ltraon pump and heat pump operang me will be set according
to requirements.
2.1.1 Precauons
• Certain precauons must be taken to avoid damaging the condenser (for the precauons
specic to winterising, refer to § 3.1).
• If the heat pump is subjected to extended exposure to negave outdoor temperatures
(excluding winterising period), you must:
- Acvate the ‘‘Heang Priority’’ opon: the ltraon pump will operate while the pool’s
temperature is below the heat pump’s setpoint temperature. If the setpoint is reached, the
pump will operate for 5 minutes every 120 minutes by default.
- Make sure that the pool’s ltraon pump is acvated at least every 4 hours if the ‘‘Heang
Priority’’ opon is not acvated on the heat pump.
