❶ Installaon
1.1 I Selecng the locaon
1.1.1 Installaon precauons
The appliance should be installed at a distance of at least 2 metres from the edge of the pool.
Do not li the appliance by the body; use its base.
The appliance can only be installed outdoors : provide free space around it (see § “1.1.2 Selecng the locaon”).
Place the appliance on its an-vibraon pads (supplied with appliance) on a stable, solid and level surface.
The surface must be able to bear the weight of the appliance (in parcular in the case of installaon on a roof, a
balcony or any other support).
The appliance may be secured to the ground using the holes in the base of the appliance or with rails (not supplied).

The appliance must not be installed:
In a closed and unvenlated room,
In a locaon where it would be subject to snow build-up,
In a locaon where it might be ooded by the condensates produced by the appliance when operang.
In a locaon subject to high winds,
With the blowing towards a permanent or temporary obstacle (awning, brushwood, etc.) less than 2,5 metres away,
On brackets,
Within range of water or mud jets, sprays or run-o (take the eect of the wind into account),
Near a heat source or ammable gas,
Near high-frequency equipment,
Tip: to reduce noise produced by your heat pump
Do not install it under or facing a window.
Do not lt it towards your neighbours.
Install the appliance in an open space (sound waves are reected on surfaces).
Install an acousc screen around the heat pump, respecng the distances (see § “1.2 I Hydraulic
connecons”).
Install 50cm of exible PVC pipe at the heat pump water inlet and outlet (to stop vibraons).
