Dial, delete or edit directory entries
Edit a directory entry
1. When a directory entry displays, press
MENU/SELECT. The screen shows
EDIT NUMBER along with the phone number to be edited. If you only want
to edit the name, skip to Step 3.
2. To edit the number:
f Press the dialing keys to add digits.
f Press TCID or SDIRÇÂÀÂɸǻ¸¶ÈÅÆÂÅÇÂÇ»¸¿¸ì
or right.
f Press MUTE/DELETE on the handset or X/DELETE on
the telephone base to erase a digit.
f Press and hold MUTE/DELETE on the handset or
X/DELETE
on the telephone base to erase all digits.
f Press and hold REDIAL/PAUSE to add a three-second
dialing pause (a p appears).
3. Press MENU/SELECT to move on to the name. The screen
shows EDIT NAME along with the name to be edited.
4. To edit the name:
f Press the dialing keys to add characters (page 61).
f Press TCID or SDIRÇÂÀÂɸǻ¸¶ÈÅÆÂÅÇÂÇ»¸¿¸ì
or right.
f Press MUTE/DELETE on the handset or X/DELETE on the
telephone base to erase a character.
f Press and hold MUTE/DELETE on your handset or
X/DELETE
on your telephone base to erase all characters.
5. Press
MENU/SELECT to save the entry»¸Å¸¼Æ´¶ÂÁèÅÀ´Ç¼ÂÁÇÂÁ¸´Á·Ç»¸
screen shows Saved.
