Remote access
Cut out and carry the remote access wallet card at the back of this user’s
manual for quick reference.
Notes:
f If you do not press any keys after you enter the remote access code, all new messages play. If there are no new
messages, all old messages play.
f Once the new messages have played, the telephone announces the help menu options. If you do not press any key
within 20 seconds, the remote access call automatically disconnects.
f When the answering system is turned off, the telephone answers after 10 rings, and announces,
“
Please enter your
remote access code.”
f When the memory is full, the answering system answers incoming calls after 10 rings and announces,
“
Memory is full.
Enter the remote access code.”
f The telephone can respond to remote access code while it is playing the screening announcement or block
announcement. This allows you to access you answering system from an unknown number remotely. See Screen
calls without numbers on page 140 and Screen uncategorized calls on page 143.
