track.
If
you
want
to
make
a
backup
copy
of
your
UNIX
PC
system
software,
you
should
first
format
your
floppy
disk(s)
to
contain
10
sectors
per
track.

that
was
used

In
making
backup
copies
of
the
system
software,
note
that
the
GSS
Drivers
and
GSI
VDI
are
formatted

sectors
per
track.
For
any
application
software
where
the
format
of
the
disk
is
unknown,
you
can
quickly
determine
its
format:

Place
the
floppy
disk
in
the
drive.

Flip
the
drive
lever
down.

Open

UNIX
System

from
the
Office
window.

Type:
iv
-t
/dev/rfp020
<Return>
This
will
give
you
a
complete
description
of
the
disk.
Look
for
"8"
or
"10"
on
the
line
that
identifies
the
number
of
physical
sectors
per
track.
