Red LED – Status: the Red LED is on when the battery charger is not operating. In addition, the Red
LED gives diagnostic messages about battery charger status.
Below is a list related to the diagnostic messages about the battery charger status:
1 flash (half second interval) - Battery voltage too low
2 flashes (half second intervals) - Battery voltage too high
3 flashes (half second intervals) - Charge time exceeding the limit of charging hours
4 flashes (half second intervals) - Input AC power missing
5 flashes (half second intervals) - Overheat
6 flashes (half second intervals) - Possible battery damage
Steady light - Battery is not charging
When the battery level is low, the "The connected device battery is critically low" warning notification ap-
pears either on the STbench with PC or on the STpad. Tap OK to close the warning notification.
The Red LED – Status flashes for six times in half second intervals.
Click OK for disabling the warning notification.
The warning notification appears once per minute for 15 minutes: the STbench powers automatically off if
after 15 minutes the battery is not in charge yet.
In case the battery is out of charge and the STbench powers off while the operator makes a tighten-
ing during a test, the result of this tightening gets lost.
In case the STbench powers off due to the low level of battery and the operator pushes Start PC
(placed on the main panel) but the battery is not in charge yet, the following conditions occur:
The battery status indicator LEDs (Green, Yellow and Red) light on at the same time.
The STbench powers on for 5 minutes more. If the 5 minutes added expire and the battery is not
in charge yet, the STbench automatically powers off again.
In case the 5 minutes added expire and the battery is not in charge yet, recharge the battery (for more in-
formation, see "Charging the battery").
