Battery status indicators and Battery Charger switch
The Battery Charger switch activates the battery charger.
Turn the Battery Charger switch to 1 to activate the battery charger. When the Battery Charger switch is
turned to 1 and the STbench is connected to a power plug, the white LED placed over the Battery Charger
switch is on.
On the left side of the Battery Charger switch, there are the battery status indicator LEDs. These give in-
formation about battery and battery charger operations.
Below is a description about the battery status indicator LEDs:

Green LED – Charged: battery charge is complete. The battery charger is still charging the STbench
at a constant voltage.

Yellow LED – Active: battery charge in progress. The Yellow LED has two conditions:

Flashing: during the early stage of battery charging. Battery charge progress is evaluated on the
reached voltage versus a target value. When the Yellow LED is in such status, the target voltage
has not been reached.
■
Steady: during the last stage of battery charging. The target voltage has been reached. The next
status is the Green LED.
