3. Raise the Articulated arm and install it on the “Articulated arm support”. Then lock the Articulated
Arm on the STbench by screwing the screw (M8) and the relative washer and move the mechanical
block close to the articulated arm.
This operation MUST be performed by two people.
The Articulated Arm MUST be installed within the two mechanical blocks extended previously
(refer to the step 2).
Installing the brake on the Articulated arm
The maximum torque applicable with the Articulated Arm is 250 N m. DO NOT overload the Articu-
lated Arm: it could break with possible serious injuries.
The following operation MUST be performed by two people.
1. Switch off the STbench.
2. On the Pressure Indicator placed on the STbench main panel, check the oil pressure is equal to zero.
3. Extend the Articulated arm in order to align it with the brake.
