You are recommended to back up your data before
updating software.
• Update is unavailable during the interruption of EZapps.
Perform the mobile update after quitting the EZapps.
• Download software for the next update might
automatically start after updating software. (Continuous
update)
• If software update has failed or stopped, perform the
same procedure again.
• Update is unavailable during international roaming.
• Do not remove the battery pack while updating software.
Failure to do so might cause a failure in software update.
• Do not move around during software update.
• Any operations are not available during software update.
Calling110 (Police), 119 (Fire/Ambulance), 118 (Maritime
rescue) is not available. Alarm does not work, either.
• If you fail to update software, it may become impossible
to operate the PT003. If this happens, bring the PT003 to
an au shop or PiPit (not accepted by some shops).
Manual Update
When the standby screen is displayed, press c.
Use a to select Settings and then press c
(Select).
Use j to select User Support and then press
c (Select).
Use j to select Software Update and then press
c (Select).
Use j to select Update and then press c
(Select).
Follow the on-screen instructions.
• You can also specify the date and time of update after
downloading the software. (Update reservation)
When Receiving an Update Notification
(Automatic Update)
When receiving a notification of automatic updating,
download data for the software update will start
automatically, the software will be updated after the
download is complete.
