Initial Setting
The four-digit number you wrote on your
subscription form
PIN Code
There are three PIN codes for micro au IC-Card: PIN1 code,
Security PIN code and Signature PIN code.
If PIN code is incorrectly entered three times consecutively,
the PIN code will be locked. You can unlock the PIN code
using PUK code.
PIN1 Code
To prevent unauthorized use of the micro au IC-Card by a
third party, you can set the product to require PIN1 code
entry each time the power is turned on.
Entering PIN1 code is not required by default state. You can
change the entry to be required. Note that setting Need/No
Setup requires entry of PIN1 code.
PIN1 code is set to "1234" and you can change the PIN1
code to any four- to eight-digit number as necessary.
Security PIN Code
In the use of EZweb or the EZapps, you may need to send
an e-certification (such as au certification).
You can set the product to require Security PIN code entry
when downloading/updating/sending these certifications.
Entering Security PIN code is not required by default state.
You can change the entry to be required. Note that setting
Need/No Setup requires entry of Security PIN code code.
Security PIN code is set to "1234" and you can change
the Security PIN code to any four- to eight-digit number as
necessary.
