You may set values from 0% (OFF) (no transparency) to 40% (almost trans-
parent). Default value is OFF.
6.3.3 Other
6.3.3.1 LNB supply voltage
Select LNB Power, to switch on /off the LNB supply voltage at LNB IN us-
ing the keys / und / .
Based on new EC regulations, this receiver is equipped with
an energy saving system. After three hours, the receiver will
automatically switch to energy save mode (energy con-
sumption of less than 1 W) unless a function is triggered via
remote control during such period (e.g. volume change or
switching of channels). You can deactivate the automatic
standby function via the menu.
6.3.3.2 Automatic Standby Function
Select Auto Standby to switch on or switch off the automatic standby func-
tion, using the keys / and / (factory setting is Auto Standby
On).
6.3.3.3 Simultaneous Playback of Picture and Sound
Asynchrony between the image and the sound signals might for example occur
in your home cinema system due to the use of long cables. Your AVANIT SXHD
offers the possibility to balance this by slightly shifting the audio against the
video signal.
1. Select AV Sync Type to switch On and Off the possibility of shifting audio
and video signals against each other using the buttons / und
/ (factory default is AV Sync Type Off).
2. Select AV Sync Value and press OK to set a value of shift between -500ms
and +500ms using the buttons / und / (factory default is AV
Sync Value 0 ms).
