■ You can specify the Loudspeaker Paging system as a Hotline alert extension so that the
Hotline telephone can be used to make announcements over the loudspeaker.
■ You must administer a Loudspeaker Paging Line via Loudspeaker Paging Line (#617). If you
do not administer Loudspeaker Paging Line (#617), calls to I70 and I*70 will receive
intercept tone.
Programming 8
To program a Loudspeaker Paging button:
1. Press
f00.
2. Press a programmable button.
3. Press left
i70.
4. Program another button for this extension, or exit programming mode.
Using Loudspeaker Paging on a System Telephone 8
To make an announcement over the Loudspeaker Paging system:
1. Press the programmed button or
i70; then lift the handset.
2. Speak into the handset. (To avoid feedback, do not use the speakerphone.)
Your voice is heard through the Loudspeaker Paging system.
Using Loudspeaker Paging on a Single-Line
Telephone

1. Lift the handset to hear intercom dial tone.
2. Dial
70.
3. Speak into the handset.
Your voice is heard through the Loudspeaker Paging system.
If your paging system supports announcements to zoned areas, refer to the
instructions packaged with the paging device to make zoned announcements.
For touch-tone telephones only, if your Loudspeaker Paging system supports
announcements to zoned areas, refer to the instructions packaged with the paging
device to make zoned announcements.
